Sarah is GE Capital's Global Head of M&A and Business Development. She was appointed to this role in August 2016.
Prior to her current role, Sarah was GE Capital International's Business Development and Equity Leader; a position she held from 2013. In this role she was a member of the core team that developed and implemented the two year, ˜$200B disposition program announced by GE Company in April 2015.
Sarah joined GE in 2005 as part of GE Corporate's European business development team and principally worked for GE's capital businesses in Europe. She was appointed General Manager of Business Development for GE Aviation in April 2008, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sarah joined GE Capital Global Banking in October, 2010 as Business Development and Strategy Leader and was appointed Business Development, Partnerships and Equity leader for GE Capital EMEA on its formation in May 2011.
Before joining GE, Sarah worked as an auditor from 1998 to 1993 for Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now part of PricewaterhouseCoopers) where she qualified as a chartered accountant and at Lazard, an investment bank, from 1993 to 2004 where she specialized in corporate finance and M&A across many sectors.
Sarah attended Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine (University of London) and graduated with a Masters' degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Business Studies in 1988.
Sarah resides in London, UK with her husband.
