Robert Green

Robert Green is the chief financial officer of GE Capital, the financial services division of GE. He is a GE Corporate officer, appointed in 2006.

In his current role, Green oversees a global finance organization of 3,500 with responsibility for planning and analysis, controllership, reporting and tax. He has over 23 years of finance experience, having held a number of senior financial positions within GE and GE Capital.

Prior to his current role, Green was CFO of GE Capital International based in London from 2011 - 2013. He served as CFO of GE Capital Global Banking from 2009 -2011. Other positions Green has held include CFO of GE Americom, which was the largest US satellite fleet operator, GE European Equipment Finance, and GE Amersham, a global healthcare business. He also led GE Capital’s Audit Staff with oversight in 45 countries. Green began his career in 1990 in GE’s Financial Management Program.

Green has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland and serves on the boards of GE Capital Corporation, buildOn and Domus.
