Jack Ryan

Jack assumed his current position as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, GE Capital in July, 2009. GE Capital provides financial products and services to businesses and consumers globally. lt finished 2010 with a net income of $3.3 billion and assets in excess of $575 billion.

Most recently, Jack was Vice President of Human Resources for GE's Aviation business, the world's leading producer of large and small jet engines for commercial and military aircraft.

Jack joined GE in 1989 on the Human Resource Management Program, and held roles of increasing responsibility with Aircraft Engines in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Wilmington, North Carolina. In August 1995, Jack was named Aircraft Engines' Manager - Recruiting and Employment Practices. In March of 1997, he accepted the role of Human Resources Manager for Aircraft Engines' Commercial Engines Operation, and also served as co-chair of Aircraft Engines' Diversity Council.

In August 1999, he was named HR Manager for GE Industrial Systems Solutions business, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2000, Jack led the Honeywell HR integration planning for Industrial Systems. In 2001, he was appointed HR Manager for Aircraft Engines' Services organization.

A native of Albany, N.Y., Jack is a 1989 graduate of Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He and his wife, Tricia, have three children, Patrick, Jackson, and Mae Le Ping.
