GE Capital's Access GE CEO Summit gathered over 100 Mid-Market leaders in Tokyo, sharing exclusive insights into the Japanese economy. GE Capital is a critical source of Capital to the Japanese middle market, financing over 20,000 mid-market companies in Japan.
The Summit included prominent speakers including former government minister and prominent economist Professor Heizo Takenaka, well-known business leader Miki Watanabe, founder of Watami, and Norio Sasaki, head coach of the Japanese women's soccer team. The Summit served to highlight the importance of mid-sized business to the Japanese economy and to help cement the Access GE program in Japan.
Through Access GE, customers can tap into GE's unique insights, tools and best practices to address needs that go beyond financing. The program was launched in Japan in 2012. In 2012 GE Capital Japan engaged 1,600 priority accounts, hosting more than 120 one-on-one sessions and held over 75 multi-customer events to help serve customers better.
